Matter Processor

(Search Function not working)

I know how a TEC Refinery works, but how does a matter processor (Vasari) work? Is it worth? Or better a Trade Port for the logistic slot. Thanks in advance. [edit: search function now working, but I'd like to have an answer how in which way a matter processor works)

It works just the same way as the Refinery. Both are worth it only if there's a lot of asteroids within one jump.

For most planets Trade ports are better but as Kitkun reply states, if you have a planet that has a lot of phase lines going out of it (like about 3 or 4) to other places that have resource asteroids then go for the TEC Refinery/Matter Processor.

My rule usually is 10+ metal/crystal mines.  You have to factor how long your trade line is and if you are lacking a particular resource.

11-12 is your baseline for consideration, 13-14 is where it's always worth getting around to it eventually, and 15+ is where you want to make it a priority.
