Deskscapes Update

After updating, I'm now showing "Trial" in the bottom right-hand corner.  What happened?

I just updated also, but not seeing Trial.  Where is it showing up?

It says "Deskscapes Trial" in the bottom right-hand corner.

I just checked the configuration window and it doesn't show that.   It shows version 3.25 for me.  :S

I understand.  What version of Deskscapes does it show you have?

Are you currently running a Dream, if so which one?

GregII, I don't know the reason why it's happening but surely uninstalling Deskscapes and then after a re-boot, re-installing it might help you

Did you give it a try ??

OMG    Ran like a skit.  Precious.

Indeed.

Not after my update either, GregII.

All you have to do is use the "Restore Archive" feature. You can try the uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reboot that Amitsaran suggested also.

I've done all of the above and still no joy.  But:  now when I bring up Impulse I get a message asking me not to log in as Administrator.  Now I'm really confused.

I think, GregII at this point you should open a ticket with Stardock support. ( [email protected] ).

They'll be back on Monday, 9 a.m.

For those who are having this issue, what OS are you using?

Windows 7 x64.

On a side note, the 3.25 update broke my desktop. With it installed any attempt to interact with my desktop (i.e. right click menu) is met with a constant busy mouse icon (the spinning circle). All previous Deskscapes installs worked fine until the update. I have reinstalled numerous times including from a fresh install of Windows and have the latest Nvidia GTX 280 drivers. I'm at a loss.

Edit: I run Windows 7 Home Premium x64

The issue on 64 bit with the trial text should be fixed now.
