My desktop icons don´t respond to right click anymore

Well, after installing desktop suite from stardock and more and finally refurbished my windows 7 and being all happy about it...

I am a bit unhappy about my desktop icons which I can´t rename, or move or delete etc.. everytime i rightclick on my desktop be it on a file or not, i just get the standard right click on "desktop" menu, where I can go to "personalize" or configure fences etc...

Anyone has an idea on how to fix it ?

I am not sure how I triggered this behaviour.. I disabled fences since It´s not quite my style atm anyway and I dont ahve much use for it.. but that didnt help me with my problem...
