WW2 - Time Of Wrath serial number issue

I downloaded and installed WW2 - TOW and when I go to launch the game it brings up a pop-up window that asks for the serial number.  When I input the serial number, it automatically closes and re-loads the same pop-up.  I have uninstalled the game, rebooted the computer, downloaded the file (again), installed, but still get stuck on the serial number pop-up window.  The serial number I'm using is from the payment confirmation email I received and from the Impulse 'View Serial' tab (both numbers are the same).  I've manually inputted the serial number and have tried the 'Copy to clipboard' option.

I opened up a support ticket on the 7th but have not yet received a reply or acknowledgment.  Has anyone seen this before or offer some suggestions?

Thanks....

Please post your support ticket number.  You only need to send in 1 email as the tickets are replied to in a first come basis and any additional email will move it back in the queue.  I will try and forward your ticket number (after you post it here) to support tomorrow morning (Monday) when they return to work.

You can also try this to see if it helps fix your issue -

Try closing Impulse and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly.  Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it.  Then relaunch Impulse.  You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.

I have responded to your ticket, though I'm posting the fix here as well in case someone else has the same problem:

This problem occurs with this game on machines running Windows Vista/7.  Please navigate to where the game is installed (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Indie Games\WW2 - Time of Wrath) and locate the file named ww2.  Right click on it and choose 'Run as administrator'.  Paste in the serial for the game.  The game should now accept it and you will be able to play.  Going forward you can run the game normally.
