New WC Gallery: WindowBlinds Textures

We will have a new gallery addition soon for WindowBlinds Textures.  As you might know, WindowBlinds has a cool feature to allow textures to be added to skins letting you customize them even further.  With this gallery you will be able to upload textures to share with the community.

The gallery will accept both .wba and .zip files.  WindowBlinds files (.wba) are capable of installing textures and is the easier method.

If you have a texture to share you can zip the .texture file and .tga file from the textures folder, and then rename the .zip to a .wba and then upload to WC.

Also remember that textures, like just about everything else, should be your own creation.

I seem to recall (it was a while ago that I implemented it), but all textures also show in the explorer backgrounds section.

What size would these files be, and would you need to create them using SkinStudio? For instance--could I make a 512 X 200 .bmp into a zip, and that would be sufficient?

Hmmm...... just checked, and it seems to have made 2 entries into the gallery! No idea why, I only uploaded it once and it went without a hitch.

I think it may need checking out by your net hamsters, or coding pigeons or whatever you call them...... :)

I really like the auto install. No fishing around for the right folder to drop them into. Great Job, SD!
