exp question

Hey lads, first of, sorry for my realy bad english and grammar, doing my best.

Ok im thinking of buying this game, but im not sure if im gonna take just sins, or any of the expansion or the trinity.

So my question is what kind of expansion is those? is it like ''crysis / crysis warheads, where i simply got 2 .exe so i can play two different game/story.

Or is it more like ''Eve online'' expansion'' that add stuff to the original game? and if its more like this what game should i start to get it all? sins, diplomacy, entrechent or trinity? if i now get several .exe??

hoping to get some answers soon so i can buy this game

Diplomacy is Trinity

Original Sins.exe + Entrenchment.exe + Diplomacy.exe = Trinity

Diplomacy requires the original and entrenchment. Entrenchment adds Starbases and minefields. Diplomacy builds on entrenchment adding player pacts, envoys, harder pirates and AI.

as myfist0 stated you get THREE .exe's that you can play individually, but as most (if not all) mods are entrenchment and/or diplomacy I also suggest getting the trinity pack as it IS the sins of a solar empire, ENtrentchment AND diplomacy expansions all in one.

you can start learning it in sins, & when you find the need you can them migrate to entrenchment, and when you want more challenge then migrate to diplomacy as entrenchment is sins + starbases, mines & anti-structure cruisers, while diplomacy adds very tough pirates, harder ai, pacts and the envoy cruisers to entrenchment.

if you but trinity you CAN play sins OR entrenchment OR diplomacy

To answer your question, the expansions are the "EVE Online" type. You run one .exe and you have all the stuff from the previous expansions added together. No need to run separate .exes to access different content. It's all cumulative.

I'd recommend you buy Trinity. That's all the expansion packs and the original game bundled together. Run one .exe and you have the full experience.
