HOW TO SELECT MY STRIKE CARFT!!!

I dunno if this was patched, but I used to be able to select my strike craft in giant battles by holding down (i think it was shift or control) and then highlighting an area and all it would select were strike craft so i could direct them to my will. Did they get rid of this feature?? and i tried googling for it but all i got were results along the line of are they any good? and viable counters etc. Any help would be much appreciated. thnx

Fleet tree is the easiest way. Click the button before the first ship and all ships will be selected. Click it again and all Strike Craft are selected. If you want all of a single unit type, hold alt and select a unit in fleet tree or camera view. Strike craft can be hard to select in camera view. There might be a hot key, cant remember.

Hold alt and click on 1 ship, and it selects all of that type of ship. This works in the main window or on the planet/ship list on the left side of the screen.

Holding shift allows you to select extra units. You can combine shift + alt to select all fighters and all bombers for example.
