Cannot update skins? Issue Resolved!

Issue resolved: If trying to update any skins be sure to strip the HTML code from the description area before uploading or it will not work.

I've been trying for the last few days to update and bunch of themes and I just kept getting an error page.

And for anyone wanting to download any of my Winstep themes many of them will have some updates when I can get them uploaded. Smaller start menus...corrected text bleeding over on some modules...some modules reduced in size and various other tweaks.

The following themes are being updated over the next few days.

Azenis, AeroExec, Cylon, DotMatrix, EclizDeluxe, Intrigue, Mako, Naked/Noir, Omni, PlasticFantastic, Prowler, RustyRooster, Thredz, Tronnix, UniverseMetal, Venom, Vintage, Wraith & Zing.

In the future please feel free to let me know if you see anything not working correctly and it will be fixed immediately if possible...Thanks!

Had one of the web gurus try and PM you while you were on IRC.  Seems you didn't get it as you left.  Was asked if you were using any html tags in the comments section when you are trying to update.

They have looked at it and it appears to be working OK.  Need for you to communicate directly with the web guys as they need more info from you.  If the html tag thing isn't the culprit then either send an email  to  [email protected] or try getting back on IRC during working hours to speak with someone.

Hey Hank...No...wasn't using any html tags...just simple text. This is exactly what I did. Went to the theme I wanted to update...clicked "edit" added the text explaining the update and what was updated in the description area. Clicked the tabs to upload the new screenshot and .xtreme file and allowed them to upload. All I did then was click submit...nothing else. Then just kept getting the error page.

 

Update: Ok....since you mentioned HTML I took a look again in the description area and there was some HTML tags in there which I guess are added after something is uploaded. So I stripped those out and it worked this time except the screenshot has yet to appear. So I'm waiting to see if that appears before I go ahead and upload anything else so I'm not doing it twice.
