Combat spells are no longer available for use once they are researched. Hope this can be fixed soon.
All of them? Are you certain the unit you're trying to use has essence/mana, etc?
Sorry, my mistake. I'd seen this problem mentioned earlier, so, when I couldn't use a combat spell, I assumed, too quickly, that the problem still exists.
