Question about referrals

Question about WC browser

http://hometown.aol.com/ibeneff/ilog.htm
I notice that my skins show referrals and what link they come from.
I see that my stats page shows referrals also.
I notice that the two don't jive with each other.
Could at some point someone explain how these pages relate to each other?
I am at a loss to see how they relate.
I ask because I like to create referrals, and would like to understand the whole thing better, so I can track my progress.

Part II

Is it possible to post a new topic on this forum with the WC skin browser?
I was unable to as of now.

If anyone knows how to start a thread with the WC browser let me know.

Just thought I would report that my WC browser is not updating while I view the Discussion.

If someone on another website links directly to one of your skins, (or page I think as well), it adds that site to the referrals, because they referred people to your skin by linking to it. It's like telling someone what the address of your website is, that would be referring them to it. Hope I understood your question and I explained it good.

Discussions update just fine in SDC, though I haven't been able to create a new post yet. I don't use WC Browser, but check your settings and look for something that allows you to adjust how long it takes for WC Browser to check Discussion Updates. The option is there in SDC and I have it set for every 1-minute.

I think I have answered my own question on the referrals.

Although I think I need a manual on the new site.
It looks like my Stardock browser is updating on discussion.
The WC browser is not updating automatically but it tries too.
The Stardock browser is not logging into WC discussion, so I get adds unless I have a cookie left after logging into the website with IE.

The new site is great keep up the great work everyone.

I am posting this as a bug report.

I've currently stopped using SDC because mine DOES NOT automatically update the discussion threads and I have to do a refresh in order to see new threads each time I log in. The web site boards work well but you have to hit the tab at the top of the page each time you read a thread to see the list of threads and when the sites running slow it's a pain.

Yea, it's going to take a bit to get the SDC integration down pat.
