marriage
can someone please explain how I get my character married off and producing heirs? My AI co-players mostly seem to have partners but my rulers are left to bear the burden of command all on their lonesome ![]()
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

When you click on the activities tab of any hero in your your employ (at least this is how I've done it) there is a gold ring called propose button. Do that, and before too long you will be having kids.
Thanks. I've been expecting it to appear on my main character's action menu. I just deleted my current game after yet another crushing defeat, will look at heroes when next I have one ![]()
you need to acquire a female hero.. You can recruit one as she wanders through your territory.. You can get a wife on some escort my daughter quests ( i had this happen once in beta). You can study diplomacy until you get i believe negations then trade for one from a kingdom.. I believe there is another way through diplomacy that allows you to arrange a marriage for yourself directly .. i believe this to be dynasties but i am not sure..
NOTE: The AI players ALWAYS start off married. This is kind of unfair as they have grown up children usually around turn 150 or so... and it can sometimes take a while to find a suitable player bride.
Also, I'm trying to make it so that you can start off "Engaged" via a trait modification but cannot get them to spawn as a champion. If anyone has any tips, I'd appreciate it. I hope this mod will help balancing the whole marriage thing a little (if you want it to).
