The items themselves support transparency but the actual menu background does not. I guess I am confused about the specific images or something. PixelPirate, Your glosswb uses magic pink for the items. Most skins do. Is it the actual background you are talking about? My version of airlock uses .bmp images for the background and .tgas for the items. Yeah, I must be lost.

Photoshop CS saves tga's as 32bit with the alpha channel. At least mine does? I was talking about the items. I was just messing around in SS, putting a new skin together. But the bar items or wouldn't show correctly whether it be tga or bmp,it just used the unskinned color instead, and that drove me nuts. I think I'll start over with a fresh template. I haven't had that problem before

oops, I thought that was the background. If you click the background it is so close to the item in Airlock. Back on subject, I import png's all the time. It's much easier than trying to take the magic pink runover? out of a image. Especially when your image has a translucent shadow. There are PNG and TGA settings that must be set right in your paint program. Otherwise everything will go to "hell in a handbasket".

What I don't understand is why all the attributes are available for transparency and translucency in a menu background when it doesn't work.
