Elemental ForumsNo. But if the LAN is connected to the Internet, people can play on the Internet servers. (When they come online, which will be next week from what I've read.)
Basically, at the moment there will only be SD's dedicated servers to play on. So you can get your LAN to play on them, but for now at least you won't be able to host your own LAN server. They have plans to allow custom servers hopefully soon.
