You should give it a go yourself Logons are pretty easy to make, the hard part is making the walls....and the help file that comes with the proggie is excellent. I've only done one, using a DangerGirl Comics wallpaper I found (it took about 20 minutes), but can't release it 'cause of copyright issues.

Use WinZIP or other archiver to open up another author''s logon to see what he''s using for images and sizes then tear it open in the editor to see how the pieces go together

See one of the things i need to know is what the default size for the top and bottom and middle portions of the background, so that i can break it apart and then put it together to look normal as a login because i never quite figured that part out

That's why you want to open up another author's logon. the logonxp extension is really just a zip file renamed

They all have the same amount of files 27 or 28. most of the files are for buttons or dividing lines. Create a new logon, call it test or temp then go to that folder and look at the images to get an idea. This one will be easiest, because it''s the default XP logon.

Listen to Essencay...... the best way to figure out how to skin something is to tear into a working skin, change it one bit at a time so you can see what does what.
