Ouch! Did you have back-ups?

Note: They're probably still around somewhere...but I have no idea where to look.

As far as I know, IconPackager doesn''''t physically move your original icon files. The folder where you originally stored the icons should still be there.

If they are physically gone, perhaps you could try a System Restore to a point before you created the package and recover them that way. That''''s all I can think of at the moment. I hope you recover them.

If you're using Norton's Protected Recycle Bin....you should be able to get them back....if you haven't emptied it

Just for future reference, it's good to get rid of all system restore points as part of a virus removal procedure anyways. Otherwise, it still haunts you.

Wow, Well honestly i haven't know someone that makes a backup the first time they finish something important, but that is when system mechanics comes in. the new version of system mechanics has something call "Data Recovery" I tried it and i have to say is really interesting. I know this treat would not be any help to you now but, just in case of future unwanted deletion you can give it a try is really good. the web page is www.iolo.com
