Angled corners, windowblinds?

I've noticed alot of windowblind skins have angled corners and I was just wondering how they do it. I have paint shop 8 and I can make a rectangle or square but I was just wondering how to make the corners angled, like 45 degrees or less. Just curious how it's done. I'm real new to this, so I don't have a clue how to do this or even if it's possible with this program. Let me know, Thanks, Richard

Magic Pink is the transparent color. You use that color to hide the right angles. Basically they are all still square but because of magic pink, you don't see this part. But, it won't work with menus. Or you can use targa images in some parts of the skin too. Just start ripping them apart and see how other skins did it.

In order to make angled lines, I make a new layer that I draw a rectangle in, then I the line tool and set it to take away from that layer, and make it really wide. Then I hold down the shift key while I draw it which forces the line to mulitples of 45 degrees. I hope this helps. Thats how I do it on photoshop 6, but the idea should be similar to psp.

In PSP you want to use your line tool, or your Select tool and cut it out.
