OD2 - Firefox Multiprofile Shortcuts Don't Work & Program Groupings not Working

Hi, I just purchased Object Desktop yesterday. I started out running the free version which was great, then decided it was so great I would upgrade to plus which I did and then in the process loaded the Beta 2.

I'm running it on Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and it works like a dream, I am finally able to say my goodbye's to the awful Windows 7 Taskbar.

That said, I have found two problems, yes I know it's a Beta still but best this stuff is reported no?

PROBLEM 1: (SOLVED - Thanks Cavan1)
I use Firefox with multiple profiles, when I add those shortcuts to a tabbed docked and then launch one of them I am unable to launch any of the other firefox profiles I have. Objectdock 2 is seeing the application already running and denies me running multiple copies of it. If I launch those same shortcuts from the desktop as I have been doing for months now they all launch perfectly. My temporary workaround is having those 3 icons on a sidebar gadget for now. But they need to work from a tabbed dock.

To explain how these shortcuts work / look:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (Arguments: -P "default" -no-remote)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (Arguments: -P "websites" -no-remote)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (Arguments: -P "forums" -no-remote)

PROBLEM 2:
I saw somewhere that this and the previous version did program grouping, in other words if I launch a program that has multiple windows open it only shows me one icon on the zoom bar. This is true for all my apps except for Adobe Photoshop CS5. If I launch CS5 and open 10 images I get 10 icons in the zoom bar which is most annoying and takes up even more space than the windows taskbar. I would love to see Objectdock FORCE all apps to obey this rule of one icon only, I hate all the features of the windows 7 taskbar and this is why I switched and I believe you guys at Stardock can address this bug and personally I believe this bug to be something funny that Adobe is doing but to get any sense out of them on stuff liek this is a nightmare. See image below. Have I perhaps missed a setting somewhere to enable grouping ???

One more problem I picked up. I posted half of this above post in the forums using Impulse and the post does not appear anywhere here. I looked in Impulse tonight and my post is there in the ObjectDock forum but not here ????

Other than these two problems, this app is fantastic and I can't believe I never switched sooner.

For problem one, open OD config, Settings, Advanced Tweaks, make sure first option to bring open window to foreground only is not check.

This will allow to open multi instances.

No problem; as for problem 2, yeah it may very well be an adobe thing.

Thanks Cavan, I figure it is an Adobe problem, I just hope that Stardock can find a way in the new version to force any and all icons that a program creates into one icon. It seems there are some people complaining about this on Adobe's forums but it does not seem that Adobe care too much about it. I'm pretty certain developers have control over the Windows API to make their software produce the icons or not, CS4 never did it so it must be the new codebase that is Windows 7 compliant.

Anyhow, I can live with it for now, my PC is still worlds better now that I have ridded it of the windows 7 taskbar.

Jafo, I posted this question in the ObjectDock forum (this forum) but I did it from inside the Impulse software. I received no replies to my post after 3 days, then I found this support forum (accessible from outside of Impulse) from your web site. I looked in this ObjectDock forum and my post was nowhere to be seen. I then logged back into Impulse went into the Objectdock forum and my post was still there but to this it's day still not appearing here so somehow there's either two different forums or posts made inside Impulse are not appearing here ????
