Confusing regarding releases.

Having some money that’s burning a hole in my wallet and the desire to pick up GCII, I went on an epic quest to find this game. One google query later I discovered two releases that are still available: “Ultimate Edition” and “Endless Universe”.
Now as far as I can understand the “Ultimate Edition” contains Dread Lords, Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor, while “Endless Universe” is just the two expansions without Dread Lords.

Here’s the part where I get confused. I can buy “Ultimate Edition” for a mere 10 euros, while purchasing “Endless Universe” will cost me a whopping 35 euros.
Does the “Endless Universe” release have anything that justifies that price, or should I stick with the “Ultimate Edition”, which has more content for less money?

They have no additional content besides the games themselves, they're just packaging names.  Endless Universe was packaged to run without DL because the company in question didn't have the rights to include DL at the time, as I understand it.

While DL is a very different game, generally speaking, if the options were reversed, I wouldn't worry too much about only getting DA and TA.

However, in your situation, it's a no-brainer: All 3 for that price is a steal.
