Now let's not jump to conclusions here. Who's to say it's a joke?? Like who's to say Google isn't approaching this from the 'other' end... and inserting snoop technology in toilets world-wide??? Well why wouldn't they??? Google pries, snoops and data collects from everywhere else... like every website and nook and cranny on-line, illegally detecting wi-fi signals and peering into bedroom windows when out and about doing Google maps.
So yeah, the next obvious progression is up 'yours' and everybody elses. 
Google has plenty...lol. They could probably give some of us some free wifi and never miss it!
