It would be better if Trillian just accepted the windowblinds skin.

A tutorial section in the Library, on the use of applications. I really like the Frogboy movies, which should be included.

Things which I wish to see in WC 2K5

-More Premium Skin Suites (For Subsribers)

-Trillian Skins

-Mozilla/Fire Fox Skins

-Private Messeging Support

-Some New Titles (Because Those Sirs, Madams, Skinners etc have become too old) and

-Some new smilies. Current ones seems very very lifeless and limited.

I think there needs to be better testing done by some WB skinners. In relation to the problem mentioned above about some not skinning toolbars, etc correctly. I'm sure in the skinners setup they look fine, but I have also tried some that just didn't work for me. Perhaps even WB could be made to create a compatibility file or something that states that the skin works best with these certain settings. Sometimes its mentioned with the skin, but more often its not.
However that is more for WB itself than Wincustomize.
I agree Trillian should be added, even if I don't use it all that much anymore.
I do like though that WC has kept the program list fairly small. Many sites (especially devianART) keep programs on the list long after they have been discontinued and no new skins appear.
I agree with the sentiment that there needs to be more high quality skins. There is an extreme lack of originality in many skins. The GUIO inspired creativity, but it seems it has been lost again since that contest.

I would love to see more holiday wallpaper and Window Blinds that don't have grey. I love to change the colors, but the skins I like often have grey. I love the glass look, but again... too much grey. Love this site by the way! My desktop is always new & different... Thank you WC!

On a more functional level, I think an RSS feed for each of the different sections would be nice. Not to say that I don't enjoy coming to the site everyday, it would just be nice to glance at my RSS reader to see if there were any new DesktopX items.

what this place needs is a special Skins Factory section

More updated skins... you have some 3000+ Windowblinds skins of which most are too old to use. Maybe you could help build some kind of skin updater? Most of the skins I want to use are too old and don't work well anymore. Get more product via recycling... neat.

A freelance icon section. Basically, have the ObjectDock section strictly for backgrounds, tabs, effects, docklets, etc., and have another section for "Windows Icons". Perhaps it would encourage those who don't want to make a full-blown Icon Package to upload their work here, also those who don't feel their work is for ObjectDock alone, but for any purpose.

Also, Firefox themes would be nice...

First ... I always want more windowblinds but, .... ObjectBar themes that are more than just a windowblind ported for ME users would be VERY much appreciated. Themes like SMBinary that are just not the NORM' you see everyday on WinCusto

With Firefox gaining in acceptance, it would be a great time to help out the effort with skinning.

And I would like to see a MusicMatch skin section but it appears that I'm the only one using it.

"Open License" sections. A place where people can upload objects made with "public" theme's so that they're all in one place.

I would like to see a RightClick section. I've been very excited about this program, and it's future. I'd also like to see a section for the various Mozilla programs. Perhaps a tutorial section for graphics/skinning, and another for scripting/xml since these things are all a big (and growing) part of the whole skinning phenomenon.

I would like to see more complete suites WB4 skins with matching Icon packages that are comprehensive, sysmetrix and the more popular desktop X widgets.

I'm also frustrated by the fact that there have been very few desktopX themes for 1024 x 780 resolution since DesktopX 2 was released. There are some very nice themes for higher resolutions that my laptop cannot support.

Firefore and trillian skins would be nice too. If objectdock were less buggy I would add it to the list above too.

Are you all mad?? I don't see anyone mention Samurize!! A WC section for Samurize would be far easier to browse than the tedious library on Samurize.com and the talent of skinners here could produce some incredible configs!!

I also think ObjectBar skins being left behind a little, I know DX can do the same, and in some cases better, than ObjectBar but ObjectBar runs much better on lower-spec machines.

I believe that WC should refrain from creating a section for Mozilla/Firefox for a few more builds until the UI is well defined.. just a thought.. but it'd be a pain to put in the time and effort to create a skin which suddenly won't work because a new builds been released.

I'm not a fan of Trillian (too bloated for my liking) but there certainly seems to be a large enough user base here to warrant a library!
