More sections on WinCustomize?

More sections on WinCustomize?

One of our long policies has been that WinCustomize.com won't add sections for up and coming sections but instead add sections that had already done the leg work themselves to make their program popular.

Are there any programs you wish we had a section for that's become quite popular on its own that we don't have? Or do you feel we have enough sections already for skins? Let us know.

Trillian!!I don't know about Moz skins. I personnally don't use Moz's skins and let Windowblinds take care of that.   Would be nice though if future versions of Windowblinds would find a way to apply the toolbar icons to Mozilla.

I'm a Firefox user, but I'd have to disagree with those wanting a Firefox section. Mozilla.org already runs a website for Firefox and Thunderbird skins that is accessible from the "themes" window in the application itself. And that website has a much better system for keeping track of the hairy issue of Moz version compatability than anything that's been implemented so far here would.

3DNA from 3dna.net, it needs it's own section badly.

Trillian needs a section also, there has been talk for years of a Trillian section.

Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird sections also.

people have been calling for trillian for months.. kinda shocked, actually, not to have seen it added when 'progress animations' went in. trill skins would make a great addition here.. soo many out there, so many matching windowblinds skins, and it would be ea lot easier to come here for them then DA, for example. its just hard to fish for the right skin in DA.

I second the motion for Quintessential Player (QCD).

Trillian, although with v3 coming out and previous history being old skins not running all that well on new version... dunno. I'd love a WB -> Trillian skin converter though

I wish you would put DesktopSidebar in, which I use extensively and find easy to skin. I can contain more features than any other sidebar, in
my opinion.

Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird, Trillian, QCD, 3DNA, Samurize - They're the only ones I can think of that have a decent skin base already and could get even better skins if supported by WinCustomize libraries

As for ObjectDock, I'm all for expanding the selection to three libraries (icons, backgrounds & tabs, docklets) - The software has evolved a hell of a lot since v1.00

Trillian 3 is near (probably in the next couple of months) release, so if a Trillian section is added (which I would very much like) it may make more sense to wait until the new version of Trillian is released.

well, i dont see why people are saying TRILLIAN so much. First of all, it is not that good of an Multi-IM. If you want a good Multi-IM, go download GAIM. Second, IF you want a Trillian Skin, go to the Trillian website. They allready have a devoted section for it, no need to re-invent the wheel for it.

And PLEASE Keep WallPapers. I use that every other day.

(Offtopic, sorry!) Hey, Savants at Stardock, Make an program what i can use to select a wallpaper from and it will download the selected wallpaper and set as my wallpaper! That is something that i think that all would like and find useful!

Rejected Wallpaper section

I agree that ObjectDock could be broken down into segments like DesktopX.

Trillian broken into Pro and Basic. Maybe you should wait for 3, though, because it is almost out. And if you happened to create a section for Trillian skins the day that Trillian 3 comes out, you'd be making thousands of people quite a bit happier .

Oh yeah and a tutorials section would be cool.

One place shopping for all your tutorial needs.

It doesn't have to be where all the other library sections are located at.

Maybe add a tutorials section as part of SDC, where one could read and view the vids that JoeUser and other people make about skinning.

Keep Wallpapers highlighted - I sometimes just want a wallpaper and will add my own DX and OD+ items to my desktop add Mozilla agree on splitting ObjectDock into different categories tutorial section would indeed be nice to have handy for us newbies.
