undo hotkey group?

If I make a hot key group of ships, it there a way to undo do that so said ships are no longer bound to that hot key?

I have always just re-used the group key with a new group. Did you try selecting nothing and group?

OK I just "selected nothing and group" like you said, and that does the trick. I wish that would have been included in the "key bindings" menu section of the game. thanks
