I've been very disappointed this year that there have been no wallpapers created for the Independence Day holiday... no submissions here, or at any of the other major skinning sites.
So this came as a very pleasant surprise, and I extend my thanks.
Not so long ago, American flags were everywhere, most of us will recall. How quickly we forget... I've always displayed a flag outside of my home, long before the tragic events of September 11th, and not just on national holidays, but all year long.
This little gift from WinCustomize put me in good spirits. Last night, someone actually stole a magnetic flag right off my vehicle at around 4 AM in the parking lot of my apartment. Stealing a US flag on the Fourth Of July how low can someone sink? I had been extremely frustrated with this, along with the lack of patriotism just lately, so once again, many thanks to WinCustomize for recognizing the holiday.
