Okay the GUI is nice, but Palladium is very worrying, and I heard MS were dropping WinFS anyway, so what have we got coming up - probably another win2k based kernel. /me yawns!

WinFS is not being dropped...but it will be for the client side only. No winfs for networking or server

Yes I agree WinFX needs to be updated, been stagnant for a while and still buggy.

Looks like LongHorn will be a Windows-authored version of MacOSX, down to the Expose features, drop shadows and file management. I WAS looking forward to LongHorn until this.
