Some people who have auto-updated their Stardock Central on Thursday or Friday of this week have reported problems where it wasn't completing the auto-update. We've updated the current release to fix that, but if you are currently having trouble, please reinstall from the link below on top of your existing Stardock Central.

There's also a smaller download version (without shared dll's) at http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral132_slim.exe

Or the new beta for Stardock Central 2.0 (more about this later) at http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdc190_beta.exe  We think you'll like some of the changes we've begun.

I see its the same with the slim link, just copy link location, and erase the dot, then use that,,,it works

. . . why not?

If people want to try it out, they can, knowing that it is beta and that there may be problems with it (I've personally found it to be fine).

I've edited my comment to remove the .'s that were messing up the links. As for why we've made the beta release available, it was time. I expect we'll be talking more about it next week, but people can have a play with it over the weekend if they are so inclined.

If you have the build that was crashing on auto-update, you'll need to use one of the links above to refresh the install.
