The best part is the userpage like Deviant art, no more having to remember a number combination all you will have to do is tell them to go to your_user_name.wincustomize.com

Yea, the user page deviantART has is something dA needs more kudos on. Jark has been a real visionary on the creation of on-line communities. Every time I read some magazine interviewing some net "pioneer" creating some lame web community I think "That should be Scott (Jark)!".

What we have in mind isn't quite the same as deviantART. Remember, at the end of the day, deviantART is a art site so it has a different focus to it. But the basic concept is similar - a way for each user to have their own page that they can order up how they want to show off what they've done.

We really want to put in more work to focus on the people who create the content. To provide more ways for skinners to be appreciated for their work. And eventually, we want skinners who want a way to sell some of their work to have a mechanism to do that.

I would like to make a suggestion/comment about the Window Blinds section. Wish there could be a way of indicating that the wallpaper is not available or the submission should be done with a blank/colored background. Often I find a window blind I really like, I download it and find that the wallpaper shown is not listed or available for what ever reason. The wallpaper in many cases makes or breaks the Window Blind theme. Thanks for asking!

There is currently a minor graphical glitch when viewing the site in Opera (www.opera.com)
I get the feeling it may be more Opera's fault but since yours is the only site I've seen it on, I may be wrong (or it may even be 50/50 for fault). It seems to manifest worse on some themes that others, if you need more info feel free to email me...

To summerise: Please include Opera in your test suite in future

I suggest chaning browsers some brwosers dont work and it is relaly hard to make it work for all browsers. I have a site and I redid it becuased it dint work in Mozilla. THe main ones people worry about are Mozilla, Firefox (yes they are different), Internet Explorer, Safari and Netscape

Like I say.. the difference is a *very* minor one that does not detract from the site in anyway.
And firefox and mozilla (and netscape) may have different GUIs.. but they are all running the Gecko rendering engine underneath.. any differences are only due to different versions of Gecko.. and also to the reference.. Opera has a far superior rendering engine to IE.. that browser should never be recommended to anyone.. ever..

(P.S. fat chance of getting me to use anything other than Opera. If I had the money to burn I'd be buying the t-shirts: http://www.cafeshops.com/operastuff.5180788 )
