Elevated Command Prompt

Elevated Command Prompt

Is Deskscapes3 taking over my PC?

After my recent debacle with a UIS0 skin, I decided to run sfc scannow to see if there were any problems with my rig. Well, there were a few, but they got corrected.

My question now is, why does an elevated command prompt have a command line that reads the following?

C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Deskscapes3>

Well, I'll try it, it is reversible. As far as I can tell, UAC isn't stopping the meters from working. It just gives an error saying so.

This may be a viable choice, Thanks!   B)

UAC protects my PC from me

Actually, that's not true.

Actually, you're right. Didn't know about the UAC connection with IE Protected Mode.

Notice he said usually.

If everything still works and those damn prompts are gone,I can live with UAC. I'll give it a try.

Thanks for hooking me up.

most of DesktopX will not work with UAC on. Performance Meters gives an error that it can't run while UAC is enabled.

Now, you may not know this, but I own the DesktopX gallery. I need DesktopX to work.

So, is there another work around?
