Stardock and Zippo Offer Desktop Theme

Zippo Manufacturing has become the latest corporate client to license Theme Manager from Stardock as a part of their marketing program. Theme Manager allows companies to create and distribute complete desktop themes. The Zippo theme includes WindowBlinds, IconPackager, wallpaper, WinAmp and Windows Media Player skins.



“Theme Manager is a really innovative way to reward our customers and to drive traffic to our website. Desktop customization has become so popular that we expect to really increase awareness of our products through this application. We are really pleased with the design efforts from Pixtudio and the application support from Stardock”, said Darryll DeCoster, Senior Internet Designer for Zippo.



Larry Kuperman, Sales Manager of Stardock added “Corporate customers seem to really benefit from using Desktop Themes as part of their marketing. Unlike other forms of marketing that are transitory, people that download desktop themes use them for weeks or months. They can also send the link to friends. That is what makes this such a powerful form of advertising.”

Excellent skin....the branding on it is minimal. Funny thing, it took me a while to figure out, was that every once in a while I got a "ding" and I didn't know what the heck was going on with my computer. Now I know it's the SysMetrix clock dinging in the hour

BTW Hands down, the material that comes from Pixtudio is the best. Quality graphics and execution. I think you should approach some of the big name corporations, especially ones who already have wallpaper and screensavers to download from their websites, like Anheuser-Busch. If they only knew the exposure the would get, I'm sure the would jump on board

Zippo's arent just for smokers.. Me and many of my friends have never even had a smoke before, but we still have Zippo's!!
