service pack 2 has a compatability issue with some hp computers, when you do a syste recovery, it wont let you install wndows updates anymore, to fix it you have to reformat your harddrive >

Yes I'm looking forward to this service pack. The popup blocker won't help me return to IE, but at least its a move in the right direction. I don't like things turned on for me automatically, but for most consumers that is indeed a need. Then those of us who don't like it that way can change it back.
Bring on SP2. Just bring it in a small enough download lol. Last time on dailup it took me all day to get it. Here's hoping by them I'm on broadband

Hum, nohing much there to make it worthwhile for me. Don't need the improved firewall (I'm behind a physical firewall), the wireless support works fine as it is, I really don't want to have Windows Updates shoved down my thoat any more than it does now, and I already have a popup blocker that works great.
So really... I'm kind of disapointed. Is that all it is?

i tryed out the latest beta of sp2 the other day and it will be great once it is out, popupstopper that works great and a better firewall that comes with the system, i can't wait for it to be out.

Its very nice, the firewall is excellent. Shame it breaks WindowsBlinds 4.2 Toolbar skinning. Had to go back to YzToolbar after installing it.
