Dragon Age, 2 days, same message

For the past 2 days I have been trying to install Dragon Age Origins, every time it gets to "Extracting files please wait" and sits there, for HOURS, it has now been officialy 9 hours today sitting at that point and I still can't get the game to install. Any way you can give us a version that we can burn to DVD and install of that and the expansion? This is CRAZY, I am spending my entire memorial weekend waiting on this to install (well doing other stuff outside and checking back every decade or so), was this simply a bad product to buy from you?

This being the Memorial Day Weekend your best bet would one of two things, sign into either the IRC chat channel or forums for Dragon Age and see if you can get some help there or email [email protected].  Unfortunately Stardock is off Monday so the support staff won't be looking at emails until then.

It might be a server issue.  You can try turning off you Anti-Virus and security programs before downloading.  Sometimes they can cause an issue.  If the download works then turn those things back on.  Worth a try.

Not a download issue, it downloaded just fine, it is just "installing", taking a decade to install. I didn't see a "Dragon Age" in the forums, will have to look, I never hardly use the forums except to read, this is my first post and only complaint so far about anything. The install just switched to saying "Copying Files" so just maybe this will be done in a day or two??? Not sure, almost worth just paying the extra $30 at the store for physical media next time instead of buying something this popular and this big through them.

Dragon Age is one of our larger games, but that's way out of the normal range.  If it ends up not working for you (and even if it does, if you'd like), give us a shout at [email protected] and we'll try to figure out what's going on.
