It's hard to believe that it's been over 2 years since DesktopX 1 was released.  An during the subsequent 2 years Stardock has been working on DesktopX 2.

Tomorrow: DesktopX 2 will be publicly released.

What is DesktopX 2? It is a desktop enhancement that lets Windows users turbo-charge their desktop by adding desktop objects, widgets, and enhancing their desktop icons.

It is one of the progrmas that makes up Object Desktop, a suite of desktop enhancements that includes WindowBlinds, IconPackager, ObjectBar and more.

I LOVE destopX, but my comment is about the screenshot on this news clip.

I have seen recently a few people with themes of what looks like the iTunes for windows theme. Is this true and is so can you direct me to it (or is it even out yet).

But anyway. Eveyone should buy an Object Desktop subscription. The things you can do with Stardock is just awesome and DesktopX is one of the powerhouses.

BTW, my subscription to OD has expired... if I renew, will I be entitled to DX2?

Of course you get DX2 if you renew your subscription. Its part of the ODNT. In fact you can have it before its release since its been available in beta form to anyone with an OD subscription.
Glad its finally official, now hopefully see a lot more submissions of new objects/themes.

Honestly, I don't think you'll see allot of submissions for a little bit yet as people play with the features and work out any minor bugs.

I think it will be about a month before you'll start to see quality themes.

Objects on the other hand have already started and are prety good from what I see.
