ObjectDock 2 Beta BUG: Icons ignore case in internet URLS causing links to fail

Hi,

I have an icon in a tabbed dock that points to an Internet URL, which of course is case sensitive. But the icon converts all of the URL to lowercase and clicking on the icon fails to bring up the right page. Specifically, this is the correct case sensitive URL:

http://weather.unisys.com/forecast.cgi?Name=11215&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

but even though it appears this way in the Link field of the icon, clicking on the icon goes to the URL with the capital "N" in Name replaced with lowercase "n", and the page doesn't come up correctly.

http://weather.unisys.com/forecast.cgi?name=11215&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

I am using the Version 2 beta of ObjectDock Plus on a quad-core notebook running Windows 7 Professional 64bit with 8GB RAM. I run in dual monitor mode with an external LCD monitor as my primary right side display and the notebook as the left display.  I use the Classic Windows theme - NOT the new Aero.

Are you creating shortcuts directly to the URL?  Since the shortcut dock entries are meant for files in a Windows file system, they are not case sensitive.  You might be able to set a link to this page as a favorite in IE and then point the shortcut on the dock at that.

I am dragging the URL directly from Firefox (not IE) onto the dock.  Yes, if I instead drag the URL to Explorer to create a shortcut file and then drag the shortcut file onto the dock, it works.  It would be better if ObjectDock handles this directly.

For now this is the way to do it.  Direct URL handling may be something that gets added in 2 if there's time.
