If you have a premium subscription to WinCustomize.com (which costs less than $1 per month!) you can now access the WinCustomize libraries directly from Stardock Central.

Stardock Central is part of Object Desktop or Drengin.net but you can also use it on its own for fast message forum access, access to Stardock's various freeware and shareware programs, and more. It's at http://www.sdcentral.net.

If you would like to get a WinCustomize subscription, go here: https://store.stardock.com/addproduct.asp?PRODUCT_ID=ESD-SDS-W052

Ande, what version does SDC report for itself?  Did you register WC in SDC?

Mine will not enlarge the previews either. Same error - missing .dll.

Downloads in libraries seem to be massive since last time i checked.

Quite neat, honestly does not feel any different from WC Browser.

Will not work. Error: Missing MFC42D.dll.

It's a lot like the WC browser but now it's part of SDC rather than having to load up a second program.

Franken - I'll ask about the MFC DLL. had you run Stardock Central previously?

hmmm, it would be more useful if the skin libraries weren't a day or two behind the website. oh, and it didnt' crash when installing a skin. yes, the latter would be most useful.

The MFC error and the skin crash on installing should be fixed with the 1.10a SDC that's available now (restart it, it'll auto-update).

I don't know about dated libraries, not going to look until next week.

A Web page pops-up and says "active your premium membership," (along those words) but soon disappears and StarDock Central loads never allowing membership activation...

Version 1.10a 196, build 22

Dr. Frankenstone, it appears that StarDock Central is now loading for you. Try clicking on "Registration Info" in the lower right hand corner, go to the WinCustomize tab and enter the info there.
You can get your Subscription information from the Subscription Info link under WinCustomize Resources from the web page first.

Stardock does it again!

The newest release of StardockCentral is really impressive and it puts everything all together in one application.

There will be a bit of a learning curve for some and possibly some oddities that some might run into on various system configurations. But once this curve is past I am sure everyone will be juiced to use only SDCentral for all interaction with WinCustomize and Stardock.net

That said, I put it to the test and had my wife run through it with her never having used the WinCustomize Browser. In a few clicks she found her way around the site, the libraries, application updates, was really interested in Drengin.net ( I think a registration for that is in the near future, can't wait ) and then I had her on the WinCBrowser. Hands down she found SDC to be the one she would choose.

Stardock,WinCustomize and team !!!
