Mouse Clicks - Glitchy after using OD 2.0

I purchased ObjectDock 2.0 over the weekend and everything is running just fine.  There are a few problems that I can't seem to figure out:

 

  1. After using my computer for a while, mouse clicks will not work correctly.  For instance, right clicking "flashes" really quickly and I can't select anything.  Also, if I go to the start menu and try to hover over anything, it disappears.  If I try to open up a folder, such as My Pictures, it 'clicks' for me all the way into the farthest directory and I'm unable to go back by using my mouse button.
  2. Sometimes the settings for all my docks will get reverted back to default, but it's mostly just the autohide feature that gets switched to Regular.
  3. If I were to launch iTunes, I'm unable to play a song by clicking OR by using my keyboard.  It's as if my clicking and keyboard are broken.

 

If there's any information on how to fix these problems, or if there's anyone that has the same problems, it'd be nice to have some reassurance that I'm not going crazy.

I forgot to mention that I'm using Windows 7 Professional x64, I installed it using Impulse, I didn't have any previous versions, and I know what I'm doing.  Something is wrong here...

This doesn't sound like something that ObjectDock Plus 2 could do. Does this behavior occur when OD+2 isn't running?

Was OD 2.0 the only change to your system before this issue started, as Dewie said OD should not be causing this unless, which rarely but sometimes happens). If unloading OD has not effect and there is nothing else new on system it could be a corrupt download of OD or a borked install. If still the same with OD unloaded maybe a uninstall and reinstall with security apps disabled for download and reinstall. Some people depending on their system have install issues with security apps running.

OD 2.0 was the only change to my system.  I reverted back to OD 1.9 (shame, since I lost the ability for a start menu button) and it's been fine since I last posted, none of the errors have happened.

 

Back when 2.0 was installed, I would have to manually unload/shutdown OD, restart my computer, then reload it afterwards with all my settings back on default.

 

I have no security apps on this computer.  Only the standard Windows Firewall/Defender.  I also did try uninstalling both Impulse and OD twice and didn't fix it.

I can confirm #3 at least as mine has been doing this as well. Have not been able to figure out why the autohide gets unchecked yet. Seems to almost be random. I also have had on 2 occasions now where the CurrentTheme.ini file gets completely wiped, meaning when I get the contents of the file there is nothing in it.

So far I have been unable to reproduce any of these problems. Do they stop after closing ObjectDock Plus v2.0? Also, do you have any Windows customization software that plugs into explorer.exe?
