FolderIcon XP 1.00 now available

FolderIcon XP is a new tool from MeaningData.com. Change an icon for any folder with two clicks. Select one of 129 specially designed XP-style icons (colored, numbered, marked folders) or use any external icon. Extendable set of 262 specially chosen system icons is installed with FolderIcon. All changes may be logged and then canceled one-by-one or all at once.

Maybe not sthrncin, but it is an easy of marking and priortizing folders like you can email

The program looks a bit too crude for me to use yet, but it's a good concept and with further development I just might use it

I remember a discussion in the newsgroups I think about this app and asking for a feature like this in IP. One thing I'd really like is the ability to change folder icons with IP and they somehow get saved with the theme, so when I re-install I don't have to go back and change again all the time.

Personally, I'll stick to IP and doing it by hand. I'm sure there are some good things in the app, but considering you can change a folder icon with a couple of lines of text and an icon file (in XP anyway) these seems rather pointless. But you can never have enough programs to choose from
