ObjectDock 0.95 & Video Demo!

ObjectDock 0.95 & Video Demo!

http://www.objectdock.com
There's a new version of ObjectDock available. ObjectDock is a freeware program that combines a task manager and program launcher but does it with style.

New features:
-Thanks to Jairo Boudewyn for the great looking ObjectDock icon now in use!
-Context (right click) Menus added, functional for both windows and files.
-Clicking and holding on programs that have running indicators under
them will show a menu of all the windows open for that program.
-"ICL" icon library reading support added
-System icon loading greatly improved, works great with IconPackager now.
-Graphic files dropped onto the dock (bmp, jpg, psd, etc) are now represented on the dock by the image they contain rather than a generic icon.
-Speed improved, found a couple unneccessary slowdowns and eliminated them.
-autohide bug, would not re-show if window was maximized and on top/left/right side of the screen
-Various glitches and small issues fixed up.
-Background glitch when dock is semi-transparent, has no taskbar, and is aligned right/left along the top or bottom.
-Recycle bin should now detect and report activity on recycle bins on *all* drives, not just the c:\ drive.

Bah, I can't download the stupid thing still... Maybe the download.com.com server is too busy or something. It never ends up sending me the file. Keeps giving me "Page cannot be displayed" error. And I really were looking forward to the fixes listed as I am experiencing some of them already...

Never mind!

It worked now. I think download.com is having troubles...

Now I can go set it up and have fun...

Is anyone having trouble loading customized (not default) icons? I also can't load any themes (I saw someone post this prob earlier). What version do the the icons/themes currently available work on. I tried .90 and the same probs happen... Any fixes suggested?

I think this is a great dock. Certainly looks cool in use.

I'd use the 'taskbar' part and do away with the XP taskbar _IF_ I could see the systray somewhere. Otherwise, I end up having to display the XP taskbar just to click on a tray icon, then hide it again. Also, it might be nice if Kkmenu's functionality were built in (although Kkmenu seems to work fine, apart from being a little time consuming to configure).

Basically, what I want is the sexy zoomy graphics of ObjectDock, with the extra systray and menu handling of NextStart (still my favorite!)

What I did was use Desktop X to configure a small object, and made it the systray.
Gave it the same background as my dock. I couldn't do without seeing the systray either.
