One note I forgot to add to the article, 3DNA is only worth trying if your CPU is over 1Ghz, you have a good vid card (over 32mb), and 256Mb RAM.

It runs best on 1.5+Ghz CPUs, 63+Mb Vid cards, and 512+Mb RAM.

Yes, it's a resource hungry program, but if you have a good system it rocks

Known problem: Does not play nice with ObjectDock, they both use the same resources and slow each other down.

The solution to the toolbar is on this page http://www.triplehelix.info/v2/help/bug-fixes-and-workarounds.shtml

It is a known problem and should be fixed in an upcoming patch.

> why is it when i installed this or at least tryed,it would say it will not run in software mode and will shutdown now?

Rdefx, the most common reason for that problem is having less than 32Mb video RAM. How much video RAM do you have?

If you have the correct specs this is a great and fun program to run. Been using it since January and absolutely love it! The themes, for the different worlds, can be dowloaded at Blizz's (Aqua has stated above) Some of the themes, my friend Candi and I have made, can be viewed at:

Aqua has a super great site with a lot of information, for all things 3DNA.

Try it out! Change your environment, to fit your mood.

I usually don't like to say negative things about software on forums, but this paticular program did a number on my system a while back. There were so many oddities after "uninstalling" that I chose to reinstall XP. I would rather see people learn LiteStep if you want a kick ass program.

RA v1 was released in Jan. and that solved many of the problems people had previously experienced. Since then, there have also been five patches released. I think it's worth trying again.
