Wow, I don't know Linux, but this review definitely make Xandros sound easy. I tried Linux Mandrake once, but as a noob without any support, I found it difficult to get started, so I just took it off my machine. (I was pretty happy with Win 2K at the time, mostly just curious about Linux.) I think I might have to try this one at some point in the future.

I had the same problems as you Frugus. I've tried three different versions of Redhat and stumbled most of the way. I tried Lycoris which never even worked and finally settled on a fourth distro of Redhat (8.0 - very nice but still stumbled). I think I may have to try Xandros as well.

jj79_1999 - I think that's the idea with most linux users that get into creating their own distros. Make it user friendly so support is minimal and customers are happy with the out-of-the-box product.
