Great job on the site! It's always nice to have additional skin sites available.

Yeah, now all you need is a 'Comments' feature so we can praise your good work.

That is a beatifull site design,

however, im beginning to become concerned that there are now about 7 skins sites that support roughly the same exact group of programs and skin authors.

and us the same basic operational site system, thats great that there is a diversity in sites but since they are basicly in essence the same, why is funding no matter where its coming from being spread around on variations of the essentialy the same system when the sites could be partnered/affiliated and or slightly integrated with each other without loosing site identity or community loss and yet bring the funding more tightly together throughout the entire skinning scene and making the whole works a much better scene all around?

Murassmeblade, we are not a community skin site, Skinplant is the personal site of Mike and I.

Diversity is good. Good luck to Hippy and Mike.

So is this a cross between a personal/collaborative site and what Pixtudio/Skins Factory are doing or really just a personal site?

Crae: SkinPlant is pretty much the same idea as Pixtudio. It's 2 skinners joined together to create skins and suites.

murassmeblade: As Hippy said, SkinPlant features skins we have made, it does not allow community members to upload. Much the same as Pixtudio, which is Treetog and Alexandrie's site, other people don't upload there. The number of libraries we have will likely expand as we skin more applications. I'm not sure what your talking about when you refer to funding. Hippy and I built this site and its content with our own resources. There was no funding.

I appoligize Mike and Hippy, i mis-stated that.

i wasnt speaking directly of your site, simply that a format wich almost all these sites seem to be conforming to is almost identical at every place.

i see now more of your intent for your own site and congradulate your work.

again i appoligize, that last statment was made hastely after a night at the bar lol.
