Microsoft has released the X-box visual style. X-Box style uses the Stardock WindowBlinds format to deliver a visual style that is both clean and useful. Its roll-up button and sleak style enhance your Windows experience.

It's available at www.xbox.com (link at bottom).

The X-box skin was created by The Skins Factory with Essorant as the lead designer of the visual style. Try it out now. I must say this is one of the best skins I've seen. It goes really well with the official X-box media player skin (also from The Skins Factory).

WindowBlinds is part of Stardock's Object Desktop (www.objectdesktop.com), a suite of desktop enhancements that allow you to completely customize Windows to suit your needs.

I already have the official GameCube theme. Now I'll have two out of the three.

You know Sony's not going to leave this market alone, expect a PS2 skin now. That'll look nice, I'll have all three

Why do people get so hung up over registering?

Presumably Microsoft paid for the skin to be developed, and as such have a right to do this if they want. If you have an XBox they you are probably already registered here; if you don't I find it strange that you would want the skin.

If it really bothers people that much then either don't download it, or create a dummy account for all the websites that actually want your details before they give you something.

The Xbox Skin for WindowBlinds allows you to give your PC a well-deserved face lift. Even MS admits its Ui is boaring

Hey this realy is a nice all around skin. Decient colors and easy to use buttons. The all important roll-up feature!! You should have had a account back when they came out with the XBOX Media player skin. Its no big deal and you get great skins for free!! Ive got them all!

I agree with diafragma, the GameCube skins should be free, I want that PikMin theme (best phucking game ever? I think so!) and have little Olimar adorning my desktop. Why are Nintendo so tight-@ssed? Seems rather rediculous to me, what's to be gained from that?

Rant over.

Well Nintendo isn't making money off the theme. Nintendo of Europe had the themes created for them, and is including a code and link when you buy the games in Europe.

Sadly NOE didn't think about their American, Japanese, and Australian counterparts when they did this

working on it. This was created quite a while a go. If i remember correctly, the installer checks to see if you have windowblinds and if you do bypasses a full install.

Excellent skin! So, Essorant, when are you gonna update it for WB4?

Oh and the whinners: you DO know you just sound like a bunch of cry babies, right? Microsoft paid good money to get this skin made, and all they ask is that you fill in a form to download it, what's the big deal? They don't even ask for the info to be real.
As for Nintendo and Game Cube: you got to understand that the management of companies in different countries are different. They have their own budget and their own marketing departments. Very often, actually, they compete against one another: it's to who will do better. So it's easy to understand how Nintendo Europe think: they'll be darned if they spend good money for a marketing idea and make it available for the Nintendo America people to benefit from. Yeah, right.
