The 1 year limit is for free updates to Windowblinds. The software will continue to work after the year however.

You can renew your subscription however and continue with free updates..

There is not a 1 year limit on WindowBlinds.  Free updates for WB are available until the next major revision which would be WindowBlinds 8, and then if you wished to upgrade it would be a discounted price.

I don't know about other program needs but if you are thinking about skinning windowblinds with skin studio, you have to have windowblinds in order to do so. good deal, go for it.

10.00 bucks! Sure why not, I've been without WB for six months..new machine with Windows Seven and you could say I was having withdrawals. Love the speed of the new ui, but  I'm having a little trouble with the re-coloring.. Do all skins recolor? I dl Cinnabar and can't change the color..doh! :)
