I got the quest "Strange noises". But I haven't yet researched in adventure techs. Is it normal?
After I copied the quest files as you suggested in this thread, I was able to get quests, but as you noted I started getting them without researching the adventure quest tech.
After researching quests, a number of "quest huts" appeared on the map. If I moved my sovereign to one of them, I was offered a quest. So perhaps there are quests that require the tech and some that don't.
