ObjectDock section live

If you have ObjectDock backgrounds, icons (PNG, ICO or TGA), seperators, or overlays, feel free to submit them to the ObjectDock library:

https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=29

Note that if you are a registered WC user you may need to go into your profile to add the ObjectDock section to your list of available libraries. Click on the library header on the left to see all the libraries on WinCustomize.

How the heck do you post your .png's? The web form on the upload page requests a .jpg image file AND a .zip file. Do I convert my .png to .jpg AND zip my .png then upload? I'll try that and see what happens.

JPG is just the preview.

You may be able to upload the PNG file directly, if not, just put it in a zip.

I have a suggestion on the ObjectDock -- how about having a true Right Click context sensitive menu, and move the customization to another mouse button, like a middle mouse button, a wheel click, left+right mouse button click, etc.

Thanks.

if ppl start uploading single image icons to the section its going to get real cluttered real fast

i agree with Thornz. I was under the impression that the actual UI elements were the point of the section. I dunno how comfotable it will be to browse when it is swamped with app icons of various shades and overlayed effects.

~ Thank you Nightfrog for asking the question I've been wanting to know the answer to since day 1. Somebody explain this for us. Do we have to edit an .ini file every time we want to change icons or what? Isn't there some way all this could be automated? If not, let's PRAY for something like that in the next release!!

I'm happy to see that there is a section dedicated to ObjectDock. My biggest problem was always finding appropriate icons to use, but now that I can, it's settled. I choose you, ObjectDock!

Got a background suggestion!!! A foreground of snow and a background of snow. So the icons would look as if they were in the snow. I would make it but really I have idea's but not an artistic bone in my body. till then I will try to make one.
