Can't upload an avatar

I could never do it

from Elemental Forums

When I try to upload an avatar or a picture, it gives me an error that the file is too big. The problem is that the file is ridiculously small: 4 Kb.

When I first joined this website, I could not upload any avatar, and now I still cannot do it.

Is there other people that shares the same problem?

If you're posting from the Wincustomize forum, click the My Account button above and you should be able to upload the following size ...

Select a *.JPG (.jpg), *.PNG (.png) file no larger than 100 x 100. Maximum filesize is 40 kb.

If car guys solution doesnt work for you, try a different web browser.

I am using firefox, and it does not work. In fact, most of my problems with this website are when I use firefox. (Aanother example is the "forums" bottom tshat does not show correctly and makes it unclickable, which is another bug that appears on some firefox browsers).

Exactly. With WC, the uploads have to be done with Internet Explorer. Don't ask why... I don't know. :)

I use FF and the avatar uploaded fine for me. But on occasion i do have trouble posting.

 

Another thought i had was to make sure that you have peer block off, if you use it.
