ObjectDock doesn't allow me to drag & drop files!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

My problem is when i have object dock 1.9 Plus open it doesn't let me drag and drop any files into anything! I can't drop photos into photoshop i can't drop music files into winamp but when i close objectdock everything goes back to normal

What OS and if 32 or 64 bit.

I am on XP 32 bit and have no problems with drag and drop when OD Plus is open.

A fix for this problem from an earlier thread was to turn off UAC if you are on Vista or Win 7.   Worth a try. :sun:

hi. i think your os vista or 7.

please go to setup folder and find ObjectDock.exe

right click and properities. and click compatibility tab. click show settings for all users and deselect run this program as an administrator. and restart objectdock. ta daa! :w00t:   you must drag and drop files in programs. :rofl:

hi i am new here.

i just installed OD+ and came finally got the drag and drop issue to work thanks to this thread :)

 

my next concern is, is there any other way for the drag and drop for foobar2000 to work and keep the UAC at default ?

 

off topic -

i realised that programs launched from OD+ dont seem to work very well.

issue1 - firefox/IE seems to have faded colors

issue2 - windows live messenger dont really work the way it was meant to, like the way W7's default way. If closing the contacts list, wlm minimises to taskbar (the one near the clock). By default, your display picture should be on the taskbar near the start whether wlm is pinned or not.
