I researched the "allow quest" tech, built inns, but no quest to try 
How do you trigger them ?
In a similar way to recruit heroes: no idea. 
I'd not mind to know though.
Dev said that for the moment heroes aren't recruitable, but quests should be in ! It's in the changelog.
I wonder about this as well. So far no single quest popped up even though I played even some games out to a conquest victory.
Well, maybe the quest system is ready but not available in the actual build.
I am wondering if it is linked with the fact you can't choose quest frequency on the new game menu
