weird error/problem

ok ive never gotten this error before in windows 7.. and ive spent well over 1000 hours gaming on windows 7 ultimate 32bit.. so here goes the problem and error..

after installing the game and starting it up for the first time.. went through the whole load screen and made my account my system completely locked up.. so i figured maybe it was a one time thing.. second time i skipped the loading/intro screen and went and got further into the game.. was able to setup my gfx settings and what not.. go to try skirmish.. system locks up again.. figured maybe it was my overclocks.. so i defaulted everything including my cpu.. then did some searching to see if anyone else had problems.. found a post on another forum with the same problem and they tied it to the sound quality setting.. they fixed it by setting it to low.. so i did that.. it actually ran for a good 5 minutes in the menu screen so i figured it was fixed and went to play a skirmish game.. setup the game and before i could start it the game crashed again but this time i got a BSOD dxgmms1.sys.. so i did more searching and never found an answer except people bitching about windows 7 and that they never had the problem in vista nor did any of the posts explain the problem directly with demigod.. so i figured what the hell.. ill set it to admin and set the compatibility to vista.. start the game up.. and this time i get the common IRQ not equal or less error.. i know for sure its not this system thats the problem since i have over 100 games installed and just got done playing a 2 hour custom game match in supcom:fa before deciding to make this post..

An IRQ not less or equal BSOD usually indicates a physical memory failure.

that happened after i used the vista compatiability.. so for that im leaning on it not liking the fact that i used vista as the compatibility since never had that error come up in the year and half this system has been running.. and its only been this game that has had the problem so i highly doubt i have a physical memory failure.. but today is a new day so im going to screw with the game some more to see if i can get it running.. if i cant get it running today then ill shoot an email to the support team..

well i took the 2x512mb sticks of ram out and for some reason it worked.. i have a feeling that the ram is overheating which is causing the game to crash but im going to throw them back in and run memtest for a few hours while i watch some Olympic hockey..
