Ive had sins for a long while now (Since it came out) and went to the store today to discover a retail copy with 2 expansions included for $40. I went online to buy it from Impulse but im having trouble installing the update plus the 2 expansions for the game. Not sure if this is a known issue to happen and if there is a quick and easy way to get everything working id really like to know. Kinda sucks i just spent $20 for the expansions and cant install them. Is there usually a problem with having retail original copy of sins and then downloading the expansions for imulse? am i going to need to rebuy sins from impulse for this to work? I think the problem is after installing retail copy of sins i need to update it before installing the 2 expansions. If so what order do i want to install everything and what update versions will i need to correctly do this? Thanks in advance!
You do not need to rebuy the base sins, it's registered on your account (along with the 2 expansions). You can download the full updated base game from Impulse, but what's it saying when you try and update off retail?
I fixed it just uninstalled and downloaded the original game from impulse. works great.
