I was thinking maybe someone or group could look into making this kinda MOD for that game. I cant make it but i just wanted to throw that idea out there.
How many topics exist for people requesting Mass Effect mods? I have no clue, but I wish these people would stop requesting and actually try to do the mods themeselves.
A mass effect mod would be pretty hard to do, not the least because A. A sequel just came out that I would guess effects a lot of things (I haven't played it yet) and B. Virtually all the models and texture probably have to be done from scratch and C. As of the first one, there are not many good shots of the ships making problem B even worse. I would also like to see one done, but I'm not getting my hopes up for a long time.
Not getting my hopes up either, but FWIW, Mass Effect 2 does add more details about ship classes in the Mass Effect universe. It adds the Collectors as a race, fleshes out details about different races' ships and classes, and so forth.
For someone who really wanted to do this, Mass Effect 2 helps a lot with providing more space content to draw from. Not saying it would be easy to do, though.
Would certainly be appreciated by the community. I'd be interested to see whether anyone did do this. Fingers crossed
