N00b help - slow opening of shortcuts

I just installed Object Dock. While I love it in principle, there's a bit of a problem. When I start shortcuts (My Computer, My Music etc) from OD, it takes anywhere from 3-8 sec or it to launch. During that time the shortcut icon "flashes". If I click on My Computer on the desktop it opens immediately. Why is there a delay with OD ? Is there a setting I can change ?

Open the Config window, and choose performance. Then, at the bottom check "I have the RAM", Use it. Then you'll have to close and reopen for it to take effect.
